Torbay Boat Coast Train  18th April 2009

47804 leads 47854 across Broadsands Viaduct, on the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway, whilst working the final leg of 1Z47 0435 Norwich - Kingswear "Torbay Boat Coast Train" operated by Nenta. Motive power was provided by West Coast Railways.

47804 powers up the steeply graded Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway having crossed Broadsands Viaduct. In tow were 11 Mk2s in a variety of liveries, included Intercity Swallow, and 47854.

47854 was tagged on the rear and would work the return working to Norwich.

The Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway's 1615 Paignton - Kingswear service passes Sugarloaf, to pass 1Z48 the return charter to Norwich at Churston.

47854 rounds the bend through the cliffs at Broadsands to pass Waterside holiday camp working 1Z48 1612 Kingswear - Norwich.
