33002, recently restored by South Devon Diesel Traction, looks resplendent in Dutch livery at the head of an early morning freight that would be stabled at Totnes for the day

33002 runs around the stock having arrived from Buckfastleigh passing the signal box that is in the process of being restored. New signal posts are appearing in the Totnes area for the resignalling

D6737 (TOPs 37037) exits the loop at Buckfastleigh to run onto the stock to form a service to Totnes

20118 looks fantastic in Railfreight livery in the sunlight as it enters the loop at Bishops Bridge

D7612 thrashes up as it passes 20118 at Bishops Bridge loop with the 'SDDT' headboard

20118 exits the loop at Bishops Bridge with a service for Totnes. Sun with cloud forecast, something must be wrong!

33002 on the front of the main set passes a field to the south of Hood Bridge. Named "Sea King", 33002 has been under restoration for many years

The 127 DMU set passes the river Dart near Hood Bridge. The galas theme this year was diesels across different eras. This meant that the whole home diesel fleet was utilised 

20118, nose first, passes the river Dart with a Totnes - Buckfastleigh service

The class 127 powers up having got the signal into Staverton platform, with its second and final round trip of the day

D7612 at the head of the Blood and Custard rake of stock, soon to shunt into the main platform

D7612 sits at Totnes waiting to form a service to Buckfastleigh. As per usual, many trains ran late, however not too severely

At Buckfastleigh, 33002 runs around to attach to the stock for a an afternoon run to Totnes

At Totnes, 20118 was added to the front to complete another run to Buckfastleigh. The trains seemed less busy that usual, perhaps due to the West Somerset's mixed gala on the same day

Pioneer bubble car W55000 passes 33002 with an ECS working to Staverton loop

33002 departs Totnes with the late afternoon freight working to Buckfastleigh, returning the ballast rake that had been deposited at Totnes for the day

43304 leads 1M70 1520 Newquay - Manchester Piccadilly service for Cross Country, on the back was National Express powercar 43239

43329 on the rear of 1M70, the second day of working in the South West, presumably due to low availability of Cross Country powercars
