D6737, (37037) with newly repainted yellow front ends passes Caddaford, between Staverton and Buckfastleigh with the 0915 towards Totnes. The 37 was substituting for the class 04, which had problems with its braking system meaning it was unable to haul passenger trains |

15 minutes later and D6737 is seen departing from Staverton on the final leg towards Totnes. The train was hauling two auto trailers |

At Buckfastleigh, 33002 painted in Dutch livery prepares to get away with the 1000 Buckfastleigh - Totnes, using the main set of coaching stock comprised of Mk1 trailers, buffets and two ancient GWR open and compartment carriages |

Seen through the window of a Mk1 door (remember those?). 20118 would then form the 1652 back to Buckfastleigh, unlike previous galas, everything was running essentially to time and normal fares of £10 were in effect, a very reasonable day out! |
