142064 accelerates out of Newton Abbot whilst working the 1023 Exmouth - Paignton

43016 enters Ivybridge whilst working the 1000 Penzance - Paddington. Since December 2008, a number of HST workings have been booked to call at the small station of Ivybridge.

43041 is seen pushing the set out of Totnes, next stop Newton Abbot

43207 idles at Plymouth having terminated whilst working the 0632 York - Plymouth, it would then go on to work the 1321 Plymouth - Edinburgh

142064 is seen at Morchard Road, still with evidence from the previous days snowfall

153369 slows to stop at the request of Morchard Road whilst heading for Exmouth

In the more tropical surroundings of Lympstone, on the Exmouth branch, 153377 which was attached to 153369 at Exeter basks in the sunlight whilst on its way to Exmouth, the last stop on the line

Recently refurbished 143603 sits in Exeter TMD

Tiverton Parkway saw no evidence of snow clearance, with 43160 waiting to depart with the 1717 to London. The footprints in the snow suggest that the snow was fairly recent. With more snow forecast in the coming weeks, this could be a regular occurence!
